  Great store with amazing toys but not so friendly sales person. Today I went with my toddler daughter and my parents who don’t live in USA. While I was paying, I just paused for a moment to see whether I need to insert my chip card or swipe it, I could see a look of suspicion from the sales person and I could say she assumed that I m using someone else card. She had a condescending tone of asking that I should be swinging my card and she followed it by verifying my card and ID. She also went to the extent to cross check the picture on my ID with my face!!! I’m an immigrant but I have been in USA for 10 years. I know they don’t do this normally. Guess what my parents are along with me and visually anyone can say they are from outside the country. I don’t know if that is why she assumed that i too don’t know how things typically are here but to the least it was embarrassing in front of my parents who were visiting me. They were disappointed to see the implicit bias and sort of insulting treatment I faced. I hope Disney store does something to feel everyone welcome!
